His career spans business development, technology-enabled ventures, investment, and operational growth across international markets, with a consistent focus on scaling businesses and opening new markets through technology and innovation. More recently, he has concentrated on building strategic partnerships between the GCC and China, particularly in artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, and emerging technologies, working with global technology providers and industry partners to pursue opportunities that drive lasting growth and operational excellence.

Waleed holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and graduated with honors from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in Economics.
