Alghanim Industries partners with Arabian-Egyptian Horse Championship as Diamond Sponsor
With its most recent efforts in supporting local cultural activities, Ford Alghanim, alongside Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately-owned companies in the region, extended a ‘Diamond’ sponsorship to the Kuwait Egyptian Event (KEE) and its Arabian-Egyptian Horse Beauty Championship hosted at Kuwait Arabian Horse Center, locally known as Bait Al-Arab.
Commenting on Ford Alghanim’s sponsorship of the event, Marketing Manager Hawraa Alyakoob added: “we’re delighted to sponsor this event and participate alongside an enthusiastic crowd for a long-celebrated tradition in our culture. Ford Alghanim is proud to champion the many interests of Kuwait’s youth, knowing we’re also supporting a cherished part of our history makes the sponsorship all the more a source of pride for us. We look forward to continue bolstering the many exciting activities that serve both the youth and our traditions.”
Ford Alghanim’s diamond sponsorship covered prizes for two categories, best stallion and best mare, which celebrate senior mares and senior stallions respectively, with first place winners receiving a 2021 Ford Mustang. For the best senior mare category, Ahmad Al-Babtain’s AB Muhra won first place whereas the winner of the best senior stallion category was Rashed Al-Shaya’s SH Sarab. Alongside the winners’ two mustangs, Ford Alghanim showcased several of its vehicles during the event through the venue’s monitors as well as providing the crowd hands-on displays with multiple Ford cars on site, including the distinguished Ford Bronco, which made a long-awaited return to production after a 25 year hiatus.
Complementing Ford Alghanim’s displayed vehicles, Costa Coffee provided snacks and hot beverages for visitors and competitors alike to enjoy in the outdoor event.
The KEE championship is considered a first of its kind as it aims to preserve the purity of the Arabian breed and enhance the preparations involved among enthusiasts in raising this type of horse. Ford Alghanim and Alghanim Industries both expressed their commitment to further boost such activities in support of KEE’s future equestrian events.
