Alghanim Industries, one of the region’s largest, privately-owned companies, has announced that it is a key sponsor for the State of Kuwait’s virtual graduation ceremony for 2020, named “The Corona Generation: Future Makers.” The event will take place under the patronage and generous support of His Excellency Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, together with the cooperation of the National Creative Industries Group (NCIG), marketing agency Local Flavor, and several other companies in Kuwait’s private sector. The ceremony will be broadcast on Kuwait’s national television channel and will be streamed live online, celebrating the graduation of 40,000 students across Kuwait’s public and private high schools, universities, and vocational colleges.

Kutayba Y. Alghanim, Executive Chairman of Alghanim Industries, expressed his pride in supporting such a significant national event, remarking: “Our world is undergoing changes of an unprecedented nature, bringing with it a lot of uncertainties. In light of these challenges, acknowledging such a key educational milestone is of paramount importance, as our young men and women prepare for the next chapter in their lives. Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Group for Creative Industries (NCIG), Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, extended her thanks to Alghanim Industries for their sponsorship of this event. She said: “Stepping in to support in such an event is completely in alignment with Alghanim Industries’ decades-long commitment to empowering youth. The virtual ceremony will feature many video messages from leadership and educational figures, inspiring guests from cultural, economic, media, and social circles, as well as entertainment segments hosted by some of Kuwait’s most popular young stars.
