Iyad Malas is a highly accomplished business leader with more than 30 years of international experience across investment, financial services, real estate, retail, and leisure. He currently serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Ghurair Group and previously served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim Holding, where he led the organization through a period of significant growth, strategic expansion, and enhanced access to global capital markets, helping strengthen its position as one of the region’s leading consumer and lifestyle businesses.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), EFG Hermes, and Gateway Partners. He currently serves on the boards of several prominent companies and brings extensive expertise in investment, corporate transformation, and corporate governance.

Iyad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
