Dirk Kahl joined Alghanim Industries in April 2025, where he oversees the Finance function across the organization, reinforcing financial reporting and controls, driving business performance, and developing finance talent and leaders.

Dirk brings nearly three decades of experience working with leading organizations across Europe and Asia. Early in his career, he spent ten years at KPMG in Germany, Singapore, and China, where he held roles of increasing responsibility and gained deep expertise in financial auditing, forensic accounting, and consultancy. He went on to serve as Chief Financial Officer DACH for Lagardère SCA, Dirk later joined Schwarz Group, Europe's largest retailer as Group Finance Director. Most notably, he joined one of its largest and fastest growing markets,  Lidl UK, as Chief Financial Officer, a position he held for seven years, three of which also included serving as Chief Human Resources Officer. During this time, he led comprehensive organizational transformations and wide-ranging initiatives that helped to double its market share. Prior to joining Alghanim Industries, Dirk served as Group Finance Director and Chief Accounting Officer for Schwarz Group in Germany. 

Dirk holds a master’s degree in economics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. He is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA, and a German Certified Public Accountant.
