Alghanim Industries strengthens relationship with local universities
Kuwait, 5 April 2017: Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately owned companies in the region was a Platinum sponsor of Gulf University for Science and Technology’s (GUST) career fair, and a Sliver sponsor of the career fair in the College of Business Administration of Kuwait University.
The career fairs were able to attract many students and professors to the company booth to learn more about the businesses and programs that the company offers such as, the Alghanim Future Leaders Program (AFLP) and the Summer Internship Program.
Commenting on the company’s participation in the career fairs, Chief Human Resources Officer at Alghanim Industries, George Lambros said: "We look for every opportunity to engage with Kuwaiti students, and to inform them about the exciting career opportunities we have at Alghanim Industries. Over the years, we have successfully recruited impressive talent from local universities and we’re invested in retaining and developing them, once then join the organization. We look forward to having many of the students we met as interns or as employees in the near future."
The event served as a great platform for all students interested in learning more about the company, its history, and what it can offer to further develop their skills and build rewarding careers. Many resumes were received from students and alumni interested in joining Alghanim Industries.
The company is committed to empowering youth through education, with particular interest in acquiring talented graduates from both international and local universities. Alghanim Industries also focuses on gender diversity, recruiting and retaining female talent. In addition to its Kuwaiti Mentorship Program, which aims to further advance the skills and talents of Kuwaiti employees in the company.
