Two "bottom-up" talent review cycles happen each year. Input into these processes are: - Individual biographies
- Individual aspirations
- Individual self-review on performance
- A rating of performance, potential, risk and impact of loss, and career mapping for each individual by his/her respective business leader
- Performance reviews
As owners of this process, business leaders conduct operational talent reviews (OTRs) and present the data to their respective presidents as part of a group talent review (GTR), who in turn present to the CEO. The output of these processes include: - Detailed action plans for all presidents and business leaders on strategic talent issues
- Succession and talent acquisition plans
- Individual development plans for each employee discussed. Self-managed individual development plans are advocated and individuals are provided online access to alternative learning and development options, in line with their identified development needs.
