The recruitment teams are tasked with conducting initial reviews of all applications to present a shortlist to hiring managers.  To achieve this, the teams work on guidelines regarding qualifications, experience, skills and competencies required for the role. To improve your chances of being included on the shortlist for the vacancy you have applied for, please bear in mind the following:

  • Only apply for roles that you feel you are interested in and qualified to do.
  • Be careful with multi-applications. Consider what “blanket” applications might say about you to the recruiters.
  • Read closely  the job description and the key requirements for the role you are interested in. In order to have a realistic chance of success in the recruitment process, you will need to meet over 75% of the criteria.
  • If a requirement/qualification is listed as “essential” then your application will only be taken forward if you precisely meet that requirement.
  • Answer all questions fully and honestly.  The information will be verified very early on in the process.
