Career Paths - Finance / Accounting

 
 
Members of the department work jointly with the different Alghanim Industries business units at a national and international level.


The Finance and Accounting Department provides leadership in business decision making.  While delivering timely accurate reports, maintaining appropriate controls, and processing transactions efficiently. Finance Department team members are also expected to develop and effectively communicate ideas and views that contribute to the business.

Members of the Finance Department have diverse professional and educational backgrounds, which enhances the learning environment for everyone.

Alghanim Industries’ finance team is organized in the following major areas:

  • Risk Management and Control (RM&C) - Risk Management and Controls function drives a more robust internal control framework across Alghanim Industries.  Its objective is to establish and maintain a world class internal control environment in support of Alghanim Industries' strategy and business objectives.
     
  • Business Unit Accounts Control and Compliance - These are units based out of the individual businesses and they ensure effective and efficient business controls as well as integrity of financial reporting throughout the company.
     
  • Business Unit Finance and Analysis - This unit supports and improves business operations with timely and meaningful analysis of financial and non-financial results. It also supports businesses in forecasting and budgeting activities.
     
  • Financial Consolidation and Reporting - This department ensures the availability of financial statements for Alghanim. It manages inter and intra company processes as well as investment accounting and reporting.
     
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - The FP&A department support the senior management with timely and meaningful analysis of financial and operational results. It also assists in development of actionable corporate strategies for sustainable growth and value creation as well as provides decision support for potential investments.
     
  • Corporate Treasury / International Accounts - The Corporate Treasury manages corporate liquidity and funding and designs and negotiates business deals.

We are always looking for team players who have demonstrated excellence in their previous endeavors and are interested in building a career with Alghanim. We hire individuals with a variety of educational qualifications (MBA/ BA/ CA/ MS) and prefer experience gained in challenging professional environments (e.g. international companies, accounting firms, investment banks, etc).

Strong communication skills are important in nearly all assignments. We are also interested in recruiting fresh graduates who are eager to join a company where they can learn and grow.
